Ichiro Tanaka

Graduated from Keio University School of Medicine and enrolled in the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery of the same university in 1982. In 1987, assistant at the Department of Plastic Surgery of Saitama Medical Center. In 1990, director at the Plastic Surgery Department of Japanese Red Cross Shizuoka Hospital. In 1994, assistant at the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery of Keio University. In 1995, lecturer at the Plastic Surgery Department of Hirosaki University Hospital. In 1998, head doctor at the Plastic Surgery Department of Saiseikai Utsunomiya Hospital. In 1999, head doctor at the Head and Neck/Otolaryngology Department of Tochigi Prefectural Cancer Center. In 2000, studied at the Division of Plastic, Reconstructive & Aesthetic Surgery of the University of Toronto. In 2001, full-time lecturer at the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery of Keio University. In 2006, associate professor/director at the Plastic Surgery Department of Tokyo Dental College Ichikawa General Hospital. In 2012, professor/director at Tokyo Dental College Ichikawa General Hospital.

Hiroaki Komuro

Doctor

Graduated from the University of Tokyo Faculty of Medicine in 1984.Joined the Department of Pediatric Surgery, University of Tokyo. After going through the University of Tokyo Hospital, the Japanese Red Cross Medical Center, Saitama Children's Medical Center, and St. Jude Children's Hospital, he became a professor at Jichi Medical University in 1997, and associate professor at the University of Tsukuba in 2000, an associate professor of pediatric surgery at the University of Tokyo in 2011, and chief of pediatric surgery at Ageo Chuo General Hospital and an affiliate professor at Saitama Medical University Hospital in 2013.

    I have operated on many babies as a pediatric surgeon.
    I have had many opportunities to consult with patient who concerns about the shape of their baby's head afterwards. However, I did not have an answer to their problems for a long time. Recently, corrective treatment with the helmet has emerged as a new option to solve this problem.
    We hope that our custom-made helmet treatment with 3D printer will help parents who have the same problem

Currently, has been Adjunct instructor at Jissen Women's University.

    As a pediatrician and neonatologist, I have dealed with many families who are concerned about the shape of their child's head. There is no 100% perfect head shape, but we must avoid that the children will be caused functional problems because of deformation of baby's head in the future. I am pleased to be involved in the examination and treatment and to be able to help prevent them from developing functional problems in the future.

Kenichiro Shirao

Doctor

Dr. Kenichiro Shirao graduated from Yokohama City University School of Medicine in 1999 and obtained a position at National Children's Hospital. He worked as a pediatrician at Kanagawa Prefectural Ashigarakami Hospital, Hiroshima University Hospital , Chugokku Rosai Hospital, Graduate School of Medicine and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Hiroshima University, and Hiroshima University Hospital Pediatrics (NICU). In 2010, he obtained a Ph.D. (Molecular Genetic Analysis of SCAD Defect) After that, he worked at Kure Kyosai Hospital and National Hospital Organization Hiroshima Nishi Medical Center. In 2014, he was a director at Medical Corporation Shirokumakai Shirao Pediatrics and Allergy Clinic. He served as a Clinical Professor at Hiroshima University Pediatrics in 2022. In 2022, he retired from the position of director at Shirao Pediatrics and Allergology Clinic. He will open a new clinic called Medical Corporation Shirokuma-kai Shirokuma-san's pediatric allergy clinic is scheduled to open in 2023
